Job Description

Sales Administrator (3-Year Contract) Sandton

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our client’s team on a 3-year contract. This position is critical in supporting the sales department by ensuring smooth operations, accurate data management, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture, update, and maintain sales data across multiple platforms with high accuracy.
  • Manage invoicing requests, payments, and related documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to sales teams to achieve targets and deadlines.
  • Monitor and track sales performance, KPIs, and incentive programmes.
  • Prepare and distribute sales reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication between head office, dealerships, fleet buyers, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes and maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with finance, marketing, operations, training, and dealer development teams.
  • Work proactively and with urgency to meet tight deadlines and operational requirements.

 

Essential Requirements

Education & Licences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Valid, unendorsed driver’s licence.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ proven experience in sales administration.
  • Background in automotive or retail industry (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of invoicing, payments, and sales reporting processes.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM or ERP systems (advantageous).

Core Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
